Prior to testing this autoclave, the Reservoir Tank was cleaned and flushed, and a new Condenser Coil, Air Jet Valve and Safety Valve were installed. Installed a new Power Switch, Control Thermostat and Multi-Purpose Valve. Cleaned the sterilizing chamber and installed a new Door Switch, Door Seal and Door Bellows Assembly. Also cleaned the sterilizing trays and rack. Then proceeded to test this autoclave by levelling it for proper chamber filling, connecting it to a 120 volt power source and adding distilled water. Than ran sterilizing cycle of 250 F for 30 minutes and 270 F for 15 minutes several times. To verify that this sterilizer is achieving it's maximum required sterilization temperature during a cycle, it was tested using a Max Register Thermometer, and found to exceed 270 F for an entire cycle
