Prior to testing, this autoclave had it's Reservoir Tank cleaned and flushed, and a new Reservoir Cap, Safety Valve, Air Jet Valve and Condenser Coil were installed. Installed new Fill, Air, Exhaust and Dump Valve Solenoids. Cleaned the sterilizing chamber and installed a new Power Switch, Door Gasket, Door Bellows Assembly and Filter Screen. Installed a new HEPA Air Drying Filter and Cap. Cleaned the sterilizing trays and rack. Levelled the autoclave for proper chamber filling, connected it to a 120 volt power source, added distilled water and calibrated the temperature and pressure sensors. Calibration was successful, then proceeded to run test cycles on the sterilizer. Ran the autoclave through all it's preset sterilizing and drying cycles several times. To verify that this sterilizer is achieving it's required maximum sterilizing temperature, it was tested using a Max Register Thermometer, and found to exceed the required 270 F during a sterilization cycle.
