Prior to testing this autoclave, it was disassembled down to the bare chassis, cleaned, rebuilt and refurbished. The Door Latch assembly was removed and rebuilt to insure proper door opening operation. The Reservoir Tank was cleaned and flushed and a new Drain Hose and Condenser Coil were installed. Installed a new Safety Valve, Fill / Vent Valve Manifold Assembly and Air Valve Solenoid. Installed a new Door Panel, Door Gasket, Dam Gasket, Steam Block , Heating Element, and Mesh Water Filters. Cleaned the Sterilizing Trays and Rack. Then proceeded to test the sterilizer by connecting it to a 120 volt power source, and adding distilled water to the Reservoir Tank. The autoclave was run through all it's preset sterilizing and drying cycles. It was found to be free of any kind of water leakage, and the chamber door opens up correctly to allow proper drying of the instruments in pack. To verify that this autoclave is achieving it's required maximum sterilizing temperature, it was temperature tested using a Max Register Thermometer, and found to reach 273 F for an entire cycle
