Also a new Air Drying Filter and Cap were installed. Cleaned the sterilizing trays and rack. Before this autoclave was run through it's preset cycles, the pressure and temperature sensors were calibrated. Then to test this autoclave, it was connected to a 120 volt power source, distilled water was added, then it was run through all it's sterilizing and drying cycles several times. To ensure that this autoclave is achieving it's maximum required sterilizing temperature during a cycle, it was temperature tested using a Max Register Thermometer and found to exceed 273 F during a cycle.
